Tia Monique Uzor -Marcher  is a dance researcher at the beginning of her career. Her research explores issues of identity, cultural traffic, popular dance and sexuality within  African and the African Diasporic Dance. She aspires to contribute in bringing discourses around dance of Africa and the African diaspora to the forefront within academia in the United Kingdom.
